This site earns money from affiliate links. This page explains exactly how, and what it does not affect.

The short version

Some links to the platforms reviewed here are affiliate links. If you subscribe through one, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes a verdict, a score or a ranking, and I pay for every test subscription myself.

How it actually works

I buy first. Every subscription tested here is bought with my own money, before any affiliate relationship exists and regardless of whether one ever does.
Affiliate links are marked. Outbound links to reviewed platforms carry rel="sponsored", which tells search engines they are commercial, and the footer discloses the relationship on every page of the site.
No platform is added or removed for money. The roster is chosen on what readers are asking about, not on who runs an affiliate programme. Several platforms covered here have no affiliate relationship at all.
Commissions do not move rankings. A platform that pays more does not rank higher. Testing order and verdicts are set before commercial terms are ever looked at.
No sponsored posts. Nothing on this site is paid placement, and nothing is a press release rewritten as a review.

Why the money matters anyway

Affiliate revenue is what pays for the subscriptions, and the subscriptions are what make the testing real. Someone has to buy a month of every platform to find out what happens in week three. If this site earned nothing, it would be reviewing free tiers and guessing about the rest.

That is the trade, stated plainly: the commercial model funds the testing, and the editorial policy is what keeps it from bending the results. My reviews of the best AI girlfriend apps are worth reading only if that firewall holds, so it holds.

Commercial work

Separately from affiliate links, companies can hire me for private research and product testing. That work is walled off from editorial coverage and cannot buy a public review, a ranking or a favourable conclusion. The terms are on the work with me page.
