Editorial Policy

AI Girlfriend Coach publishes reviews, product tests and original research about AI companion platforms. This page states the rules that work runs under, so you can hold the site to them.

Who decides what gets published

I do. Ranji Mercado is the founder, sole editor and only person who writes here. There is no third party with approval over a verdict, a ranking, or a research finding.

How coverage is chosen

Platforms are chosen for testing because readers are asking about them, because they are large enough to matter, or because something about them is worth examining. No company can buy its way onto the roster, and no company can buy its way off it.

What money cannot do

How claims are evidenced

Everything published here comes from testing I did myself or research I ran myself. Subscriptions are bought with my own money. Screenshots, dates, prices and the names that appear on bank statements are recorded as they happen, and the survey work publishes its questionnaire, its bases and its exclusions so any figure can be traced to a question and an answer. Where a figure comes from someone else's research, it is attributed to them.

Figures I have not yet been able to verify are marked as unverified rather than published as fact. The testing methodology describes the process in full.

Where the reviews are

The living reviews are on the reviews hub, the original studies are on Research, and the shortlist of AI girlfriend apps worth your time is on the homepage.
